Filming nature and wildlife in Africa has always been a dream of mine. The opportunity to film nature in one of the last truly wild places on Earth left me with an even great appreciation for the wildlife inhabitants of our planet.

I based my time there in Kruger National Park in South Africa. Guided by Craig Berger of Oasis Africa, it was an incredible and memorable Safari which at the end of the trip I vowed to return to capture more of this incredible place.

Initially you may think “What’s the big deal? I see elephants and rhinos in zoos and wildlife parks all the time.” But with the tables turned and you are the one in the cage, it’s a totally different experience, trust me!
When you’re between two elephants on a dirt road and you’re backing up because the one in front keeps coming towards you while the one behind you is standing his ground you know you’re not in Kansas any more!

Here’s a short film I took during my first trip To Kruger. I’m counting the days until I can return and create even more stunning nature video.
